What should a pharmacy consider under the EU AI Act?
The EU AI Act sets the framework for responsible AI use. In pharmacy practice, the pharmacist remains fully responsible for processes and decisions, even when AI tools are used.
Important topics include risk assessment, transparency, accountability, staff competence, privacy, medicinal safety, professional ethics and liability. AI must not be used for prohibited practices, discrimination or unsafe recommendations.
How can we implement risk management for AI in the pharmacy?
Start with a structured risk analysis: where AI is used, what could go wrong and what consequences this might have for staff, processes and patients.
That should be backed by training, clear ownership, documented procedures and regular reviews or audits.
How is true+ different from generic LLMs?

No. true+ does not change its core intelligence through prompts alone.
Better prompting still improves results, but new knowledge comes from approved websites, uploaded PDFs and other content you intentionally provide.
Are there recommendations for efficient prompting?
Yes: ask clearly, directly and as specifically as possible. The more precise the input, the more precise the answer can be.
If the first answer is not enough, refine your follow-up question with more context.
How can we add our own content?
You can upload PDFs and approve websites whose content you trust. It helps to keep a clean file structure and clear naming from the start.
A good practical approach is to upload content in smaller steps and test it immediately through real questions.
Can uploaded sources be updated or removed later?
Yes. PDFs can be deleted and website approvals can be revoked at any time.
Because of that, consistent naming and documentation of your knowledge sources are important from day one.

How is system security ensured?
true+ is hosted only on servers in Germany, particularly at Hetzner, so data stays within the EU.
The system is also designed not to pull in uncontrolled external sources during daily use.
How do contents get into the system?
Content is added manually through your access: for example via PDF uploads or by approving selected websites.
Source traceability matters, so files and sources should be documented clearly.
Does my true+ AI use external sources?
true+ does not freely browse outside sources while working. It combines pharmaceutical base knowledge with the content you explicitly provide.
When delivered, it does not yet know your internal pharmacy knowledge unless you add it.
Data & Legal
Where is our internal pharmacy data stored and is it reused?
Your internal pharmacy data is stored on servers in Germany and protected by technical and organisational safeguards.
No, this data is not reused for other customers or other purposes.
What about copyright and system issues?
The customer remains responsible for ensuring that uploaded documents can be used lawfully.
If issues arise with documents or processing, true+ supports customers through a ticketing workflow and regular updates.
